New Meeting Journey

Upon our recent move to Long Beach, CA I looked thru the Southern California Meeting List & noticed closes meeting was a few towns over! I was surprised & knew that Long Beach needed & deserved some MA meetings!
I started emailing locations. Half way houses, places that already had meetings! I was lucky right away Serene Center shot me a email back. I chatted w them on the phone & they set us up w a meeting, right there & then! I was so happy ya know when things are meant to be they fall right into place!!
I emailed District 7 & MA Main Office (which is in LB around the corner from me!), and Tom from Main Office was gre8t!! He really helped me put it into motion & connect me w information to download, etc. He also emailed D7 for me & they got back to me to help! I have connected w a few other D7 folx & feel so blessed to be part of MA!
Our first meeting is in a few days & I'm excited!
Sometimes ya gotta just jump in w both feet & go for it! Service work comes thru many channels & I'm just grateful to be a vessel!
