Welcome to the Forum flutterby!
My aunt used to say, "There's a hat for every head." She wasn't talking about the Internet of course, but truisms are truisms (feel free to quote me on that). The Yahoo Groups site you mention is more of an electronic mailing list and that makes it different than an Internet forum such as we have here. Each has its benefits and limitations. Accordingly, some of us will prefer one to the other and if that means that we are able to carry the message to a wider audience, we will have succeeded.
Speaking of carrying the message to a wider audience, the Forum is open for everyone to read. There is no need to join to benefit from the experience, strength and hope freely shared here. That said, I hope the mailing list attracts many new members as a result of your post here: I know that some will find it beneficial to their recovery.
The conference minutes have been distributed to the MAWS Trustees and Delegates. Your District's delegate(s) will be more than happy to get you a copy.
Posting the minutes on the Internet continues to be problematic. I was asked to review several years worth and found that they contained information that could compromise the anonymity of some of our members. Our Traditions do not abide that. Until our volunteers and/or office staff are able to "sanitize" the documents, easy access on the World Wide Web will be stifled.
BTW, discussing questions is encouraged on the Forum. Please don't think that you're stepping on anyone's toes. Thank you for bringing the issue up.
